Jo Ann is the founder of Camp Yoga & SUP and began her yoga journey more than 30 years ago.
She's only been teaching for 10 years but in that time she also founded SUP501 (Paddleboard Yoga) and TruYoga Institute (Yoga Teacher Training School). Combining SUP501 and TruYoga is what created Camp Yoga & SUP.

JoAnn holds a bachelors degree in health sciences with an emphasis on Health Promotion. She specializes in physical fitness, nutrition, and an all around healthy lifestyle. In addition to her formal education, she is a 500 E-RYT , YACEP Provider, AFSA Certified Personal Trainer, and Balanced Body Pilates Reformer certified.
Circy obtained her RYT-200 which she received through TruYoga Institute in 2019. Circy also holds a certification in Yin Yoga.

As she began to approach her forties, she felt a yearning to delve deeper into my yoga journey. Circy has been teaching group fitness classes for several years, but when she discovered yoga, she realized you can be any age, any shape, any size and still reap the benefits both physically and mentally. What she's loves about yoga is that from the moment you come to the mat it is your time to forget about the outside world and turn inward. She is still amazed at what the mind and body can do when practicing breathwork, asana, and stillness, all of which bring peace and are ultimately life-changing. It is her joy and honor to be able to help a student find a new level of possibility in their practice. In class she loves to see students challenge themselves mindfully and discover new things their bodies can do. She became passionate about practicing yoga for these reasons and have found her authentic self through teaching here.
